The Weldmark 4000 Low-Profile Tri Pipe Folding Leg Pipe Stand is widely used in the welding of heavy pipes, shapes, solids, and rounds. Its tripod structure maintains superior support and widened foot pads improve stability. The strut tension plate of the structure gives superior lateral support. The body of the pipe jack stand is high-quality, premium steel for durability. The lead screw of the stand is resistant to rust and corrosion. The pipe jack stand will hold up to 2,500 lbs. standard V-Head load capacity (with higher load rating available to manage most pipe fitting jobs) and features an oversized 10-inch V-Head for increased safety. The pipe jack stand is adjustable in height from 22-inches to 39-inches for maximum versatility. Oversized 1 1/4-inch square tube legs and braces offer added strength and rigidity. A Quick-lock washer can lock onto the base for increased operator safety and allows for easy and quick height adjustment. The washer supports pipe during pipe threading, pipe hole cutting, roll grooving, etc. This pipe jack stand features a 1 1/2-inch Acme Rod for long operating life and durability. Unique bottom lock T-Handle reduces fit-up wobble. Fully welded carry handle doubles as security lock point, and the slip-proof rubber handle allows for easy transport. The whole jack stand with a folding legs design and a small 25-inch footprint (7-inch folded) takes up less storage space in the work area. The V-Head cradles pipe to keep it centered and prevent it from rolling off the stand and lifts or lowers to set pipe at the desired height. Its base supplies a stable footing to resist tipping when standing on a level, flat, solid floor. Two or more stands are typically necessary to support pipe along its length. Made in the USA.
