Item Code: WEM164-5

Description

The Weldmark® by Victor® Acetylene Airco® style 164 series Oxy-Fuel Size 5 Cutting Tip has a cutting capacity of 4 inches. This general purpose Airco® series tip is one piece. It is ideal for hand and machine torch cutting on 4700 series machine torches or compatible with 3790, 4800, 5700, and 5800 Series cutting attachments. It is capable of cutting 7-10 inches per minute. It's designed for use with Acetylene, with a max Acetylene pressure of 4 and a max cutting oxygen pressure of 60. Oxy-Fuel cutting is a thermal cutting process utilizing oxygen and fuel gases to cut through metals such as mild steel. In this process, the torch heats the steel to its ignition temperature, after which oxygen is directed to the cutting point, burning it into a molten metal. A stream of gas blows the molten metal away from the work area, resulting in a clean cut.
