Description

The Weldmark® by Victor® Acetylene GPN series Oxy-Fuel Size 0 Cutting Tip has a cutting capacity of 3/8- 1/2 inches. This general purpose GPN series tip is 0.8" long and 3" wide, and comes in two pieces with a spline insert. It is ideal for hand cutting. It is compatible with CA1350/51/52, CA1260, and CA411-3 cutting attachments, and is capable of cutting 18-22 or 20-24 inches per minute, with an average kerf width of 0.06 inches. It's designed for use with Propane gas, with a max propane gas pressure of 5, and a max oxygen cutting pressure of 35. Oxy-Fuel cutting is a thermal cutting process utilizing oxygen or fuel gases to cut through metals such as mild steel. In this process, the torch heats the steel to its ignition temperature, after which oxygen is directed to the cutting point, burning it into a metal oxide. A stream of gas blows the metal oxide away from the work area, resulting in a clean cut.
